Christmas Season

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ a time for us to understand the lessons from Jesus and reflect on them. This would be one in contemporary history when we are encouraged to celebrate the Christmas season in its essence , in its simplicity with a focus on the covid-19 pandemic, we are absorbed with guidelines on how to celebrate Christmas this year with only members of the family who are living in the same household, observe social distancing, wearing masks and follow the protocols given by the local government units. We are afraid from visiting  one another for our protection and safety.

But our celebration of Christmas should not be moisten by covid. Let us have more hope, peace and love this season. Let us rejoice because it is the birth of our savior. This has been difficult for all of us but we cling to hope. The amidst all of the confusion and fear that the pandemic has brought, god is always with us strength to face all challenges that we suffered cause of this pandemic. We have to lift our hands with him and he show us the way. We will all get through this crisis together with hand in hand and in the end we will face the new normal of our life despite the covid-19 pandemic. Let us love and hope together this Christmas.
