“HERO WAYS, ZERO WASTE” I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all heard about the three R’s of waste management; reduce, reuse, and recycle. But do you know why they are in that order and what each one entails? In order to fully understand the meanings of the three R’s we need to talk about the impact solid waste has on the earth annually. Reduce As you can likely deduce from its being the first of the three R’s, reducing is the best way to go about managing solid waste. It’s quite simple really, the less you use the less waste you will produce. This R causes the most unease in consumers because we tend to think we need to cut back on everything or we won’t be making an impact. This is not the case, though. By just doing a few things to cut back you can noticeably reduce your waste without totally altering your lifestyle. Reuse The second R is for reuse. It's already near to the end of this school year. This fourth quarter, we learned about Microsoft front-page, web designs, and blogging. I can say that it's a bit hard for me since I have difficulty in learning. Even so, I still managed to make my own flyer that promotes our school, ISNHS which was given as a task for us to learn more on editing. Another things is we learned to develop our skills. I also learned something that's outside from the topic. That is to cherish every memories we made. I will surely miss learning ICT, and of course, the Grade 10 SSC students which will forever have a special place in my heart. Last but not the least, I realized this quarter that since my high school life will end very soon, I should be able to develop my own learning ways to be able to survive and to maximize my future. I should not also forget to mention that hard work, responsibility, suffering, stress and feelings of hopelessness are normal to students like me. ICT is useful and

  Father’s Day is commemorated in most parts of the world on the third Sunday of June. This year it is being observed on June 20. Father’s Day is a celebration of fathers, honouring fatherhood, paternal bonds and the role fathers play in society. First proposed in 1909, this day is an opportunity to show your dad how much he means to you and the role he has played in shaping your life. Father’s Day acknowledges and celebrates the contribution of fathers to their own families and society at large. On this day, children get a chance to appreciate their fathers and father figures -all the people who have played a vital role in their lives. It can be emotionally, mentally or even financially. It is the day one recognizes the importance of the role a father plays in one’s life. To show their love for their fathers or father-like figures, children buy or make presents and write and draw cards. Philippine Revolution, (1896–98), Filipino independence struggle that, after more than 300 years of Spanish colonial rule, exposed the weakness of Spanish administration but failed to evict Spaniards from the islands. The Spanish-American War brought Spain’s rule in the Philippines to a close in 1898 but precipitated the Philippine-American War, a bloody war between Filipino revolutionaries and the U.S. Army. Numerous quasi-religious uprisings had punctuated the long era of Spanish sovereignty over the Philippines, but none possessed sufficient coordination to oust the Europeans. During the 19th century, however, an educated Filipino middle class emerged and with it a desire for Philippine independence. Opposition before 1872 was primarily confined to the Filipino clergy, who resented the Spanish monopoly of power within the Roman Catholic Church in the islands. In that year the abortive Cavite Mutiny, a brief uprising against the Spanish, served as an excuse for renewed Spanish repres
